Holds the camera solid; however, does have some slight (1/16" or less) movement fore/aft. The battery strap slots work well and accommodate 2" wide straps. Issue is with the strap over the controls and the camera heat sink bars. Causes a bit of a putzing around; however, very functional. Have not had problems with overheat due to strap across heat sink while flying (15 min or so flights, camera on video for most of the flight).
